Snippet #4: Supply network
Here another quick snippet. One illustrating the new supply system. The supply network shown on this snippet had 500 truck points available and used them all up. 490 points to get supplies from a town in the north to the SHQ and 10 points to get supplies from a town to the east to the SHQ. Both towns have food left since there was not enough logistical power to transfer everything. For economy purposes the supply network will be as good as limited to the roads, but units are going to have some organic transport capability which will allow them to pick up supplies from nearby roads. And then there will be naval convoys as well…

In this example 500 truck points moved 500 food units to SHQ. So each faction will have so many logistic points (air, naval & vehicle) that will be used to move food, fuel, raw materials and military units each turn? What do the white circles over the green symbol represent?

Logistical points will be derived from assets (that you can construct) or from naval or air units.
They’ll be used in providing items and troops to locations and units as well as strategic movement and transfers.
The white circles i’ll discuss in another snippet. But I can disclose already that on the map shown here they represent “Agriculture under domes”. Under a dome? yes since the atmosphere of this particular planet is hostile to terran plant life.

Great to see a new project under construction. Will Shadow Empire be highly moddable and would we be able to create “real world” mods with a world war 2 or modern warfare theme? Thanks!
