Exabel IV is a Proteus Class Planet. Large Oceans, but also large continents with dry interiors. Inspecting the Private Port of Ramatis City we see +40 food by fishing. The local alien fish (and Walrus) in the Hermes Ocean are reasonably edible.

Zesarus is a swampy, flat, Fontus Class Planet. Near the mouth of the Lennox Stream the 1st Recon Bat has encountered hostile alien squids. Note that these critters are semi-amphibic and are able to emerge from the seas to enter coastline Hexes.
