Its crazy in my development agenda, but I like to keep supporting ATG and further develop it. <\/p>\n<p>The last big things I added where tank models and officers. Then I tried to see if I could get the historical unit models (a bit like in DC; think Infantry Division, Pz Regiment, etc..) into ATG. However after spending quite some time on it I am not sure anymore this is a good idea. Allowing the player to create models for units (like: 40 inf, 2 at-guns, 4 horses) and have automated reinforcements being send adds more complexity to the game than I first thought. Mainly in 2 areas: 1. The player will have to have a in-game design window to specify the ideal contents of such models. But its not straight forward as for example if no halftracks are available, would trucks be ok too? or if no infantry is available will infantry &#8216;IV&#8217; will be ok too? or SMG? or militia?&#8230;.  2. The player will either have to receive free of cost auto-reinforcements which would act as a magic transfer (breaking some core gameplay principles with transfers costing transfer capacity points) or an intricate system will have to be build where HQs use their land,train and navy transfer cap pts to send out these auto-reinforcements&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway it is a hell of a lot more work than I expected and my gut-feeling here is that it might not be worth it. Why try to make ATG more like DC? DC already does this stuff well. Since the code base of ATG and DC have split some time ago I would ideally like to see ATG move in its own unique direction and get as much difference between DC and ATG as possible.<\/p>\n<p>But my main goal with any continued ATG development is to support the community. So enough about my thoughts. (select up to 3)<\/strong><\/p><div id=\"polls-6-ans\" class=\"wp-polls-ans\"><ul class=\"wp-polls-ul\">\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-23\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"23\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-23\">Increased Fog of War features (imperfect information in combat screen, in combination with models: hidden stats of different troop models)<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-24\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"24\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-24\">Make infantry, aircraft, etc.. also customizable by allowing you to create different models of them in-game (like the tank models)<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-25\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"25\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-25\">See if I could get some form of we-go PBEM implemented somehow to make high player count games easier (doubtfull i'll succeed though)<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-26\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"26\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-26\">Persist with trying to get some historical models and auto-reinforcements implemented in ATG<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-27\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"27\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-27\">See if you could get leaders to be actual individual troops in a unit that can be killed<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-28\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"28\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-28\">Improve the graphics mode where you can see the hexes colored in the color of the owner<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-29\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"29\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-29\">Get double sized graphics working to keep things readable on high-res monitors<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-30\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"30\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-30\">Work a bit more on the AI to get it to be a bit smarter with land combat decisions<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-31\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"31\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-31\">Work a bit more on the AI to get it to be smarter with research and production<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-32\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"32\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-32\">Work a bit more on the AI to get it to be smarter with navies, especially concerning inter-continent warfare<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-33\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"33\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-33\">See if I could implement optional Line of Sight rules and Ranged Attacks<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-34\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"34\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-34\">See if I could implement some more detailed statistics, like historical losses and kills per troop type<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-35\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"35\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-35\">Make loading and modifying a saved game and then continueing play possible (to use ATG as a campaign tool for another tactical game)<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-36\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"36\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-36\">See if I could improve some rough edges on the graphics of the interface here and there<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-37\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"37\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-37\">Improve the random map generation algorithm with more options and variety<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-38\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"38\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-38\">Look into a feature where locations become more detailed and can have sub-locations or upgrades on different aspects<\/label><\/li>\n\t\t<li><input type=\"checkbox\" id=\"poll-answer-39\" name=\"poll_6\" value=\"39\" \/> <label for=\"poll-answer-39\">Something else....
