Simple Editor Regimes

Here you can add and configure the two regimes for the scenario.

Make sure you never have more than 2 regimes in-game!

1. Commander Pool

Not used at the moment.

2. Regimes list

Click to select a regime and change its properties

3. Add or remove a regime

You need two regimes for a functional scenario.

4. Change name

Change the name. Do not make the name to long as it can distort things in the user-interface when in-game.

5. Change people

Not really any functionality yet. But probably best to set them to one of the people's belonging to their side.

6. Counter background color

Used to draw the unit counters

7. Counter foreground color

Used for the text color on the unit counters.

8. Frontline overlay color

Used for the shading and frontline colouring.

9. Mirror counter siluets

If true then the trooptype graphics are mirrored to face the other direction. Its usually useful to put one of the two regimes to mirrored so its easier to keep friend and foe apart for the player.

10. National icon

This is draw in the top corner on unit counters of this regime. Check the graphics/ardennes/flags directory and look for a “*-natIcon” named .png.

11. Roundel sprite

This is drawn in the top-left corner of the play screen (to indicate who's turn it is) and some windows (like combat resolution). Check the graphics/ardennes/flags directory and look for a “*-topFlag” named .png.

12. HQ flag

This is drawn on HQs without their own small gfx as well as on VPs and assured-ownership hexes on the map. Check the graphics/ardennes/flags directory and look for a “Flag-*” named .png.
