Simple Editor Libraries

In this window you can load and configure libraries.

Walkthrough

1. Library list

A list of all libraries loaded. Select a library to inspect its contents in the lists to its right.

2. Global libvars

Click here to inspect the global libvars that are present in the selected library. These will appear in the lists to its right. You can click a global libvar to read its documentation and or to change it.

3. Hex libvars

Click here to inspect the hex libvars that are present in the selected library. These will appear in the lists to its right. You can click to read a hex libvar's documentation. To change it you have to go to the 'map tab' (see top buttons).

4. Regime libvars

Click here to inspect the regimelibvars that are present in the selected library. These will appear in the lists to its right. You'll first have to select a regime before you can set the value of a regime libvar for that specific selected regime.

5. Non-executabe events

Just a list of internal events defined in the library that you cannot touch in any way. Purely informative thus.

6. Tables

A list of the tables defined in the library. You can edit these by clicking on the 'tables tab' (see top buttons)

7. Event pictures

A list of event pictures that are included in the selected library. You cannot change anything unless you have selected no library . If no library is selected you can load extra event pictures. (which you can then put in certain tables)

8. Small Gfx pictures

A list of small gfx pictures that are included in the selected library. You cannot change anything unless you have selected no library . If no library is selected you can load extra small gfx. (which you can then put in certain tables)

9. Save Map

Save the current map of this scenario as a .dc4map file.

10. Load library

Load a new library. Also use this to update a library to a higher/newer version. This will present you with the Load Library Pop-up

11. Remove library

Remove a library. Be aware that this might also have repercussions like units being removed from the map or contents of units being wiped. Never remove a library lightly.

12. Load libvars

Expert use advised. Be sure map size is the same and same number of regimes. Only works if the scenarios are very similar. Allows you to select another scenario and make all the libvars (also hex libvars) of the selected library be set to the same values as that selected scenario.

13. Save library

It is possible to export a library from a scenario. You can do this for Officer libraries, Historical model libraries and Trooptype libraries.
