you can start placing units on the map.
Removes the selected unit.
Allows you to chose from a list of available models for the owner of the selected hex. A new instance of this model will be placed on the map. If you don't like the auto-name and/or auto-number effect you can fine tune with the 'change counter' button.
Allows you to chose from a list of available historical units (not to be confused with models) for the owner of the selected hex. It is not a good idea to use 'change counter' on such a unit since when the library is reloaded it will revert to its library settings.
{EXPERT USE ONLY}. You should not use. However expert use is possible and it allows you to load the units put on the map from another scenario file. This only works if the scenario maps are the same and they are using the same libraries. It can be a powerfull function if you want to make several variants of your scenario without having to work on them all.
You should only use on units you have created by using 'Add Unit Model'. It allows you to change the name of the unit as well as the shortname displayed on the counter. If a shortname only contains numerals it is displayed as for example 1st, 2nd or 3rd. If it contains letters as well than the full shortname is displayed.
Only for HQs. Changes the HQ color indication.
Allows you to assign a commander (aka officer) to a HQ. You must have an officer library for this regime loaded and the officers assigned to the commander pool (aka officer pool) of the regime in question in order to do this though.
Allows you to put the existing unit on a different hex.
